Why dont you just lay off the chocolate ladies? then you wont need to go to the gym and save loads.

Primula Gighas Red. £1. It had vine weevil in the pot, but no matter I was going to split it anyway. 30 plants it went into and they are all growing away nicely now (Kiss of death!)

You don't need a gym with a garden.

Its a shame we cant grow chocolate trees though...

Tesco had their packs of 20 pansy and viola down from £3 to 30p, and their hanging baskets filled with pansies down from $5 to 50p. I bought 4 packs of bedding and two hanging baskets - the baskets are the perfect size to fit in the top of the chimney pots my Dad gave me. With a bit of tlc, they'll flower their socks off for months

Wow that was a good buy Emma, but what sort of state were they in?I have seen some at our Tesco, and i feel like reading them thier last rights.

17/09/2013 at 13:22

Just a bit of dead-heading and a damn good watering was all that was needed

17/09/2013 at 13:26

Nothing since I received the letter about "noise and banging". I've been drawing out plans for the garden next year, and labelled the wall to the left as "sour-faced b&^£* from hell's wall" lol
