It was pretty windy in Nottinghamshire this morning but seems to have quietened down a little. Sky looks very grey though. What's it like where you are Gardening friends?
That's not as nice as your sunrise photo yesterday Tootles
It's been very windy here in south central Scotland overnight and the noise woke me up very early but as soon as it was light I could see that there was no damage, thank goodness My acer was lovely a few days ago but now there's not a leaf left on it.
Very heavy rain hammering on our west facing windows - really noisy! Have had to turn the radio up! The wind's not too bad at the moment but a bit squally!
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
I spoke too soon - that was a really big gust, making noises in the chimney - think all the hatches are battened - although the mini-greenhouse top is propped open a bit - but it's in a sheltered corner - fingers crossed.

Slight Breeze ruffling the trees on my front and glorious sunshine, quite warm. But "hey" this is Teesside we have three sets of hills before those Westerly's get to us including the Pennines and the North Sea is always lingering ready to pounce when we get too cocky. Ate the last of the tomato's fried in a little butter with pepper, roll on next year.

Frank.
Frank, those toms sound delicious.
Pretty squally here, the Jack Russell loved her morning walk with her raincoat on (her fur takes so long to dry that a raincoat is the answer).
Very windy last night and first thing, plus showers here in Gloucestershire. Its now all blown over and not too bad, blue sky of sorts
Very windy in Rickmansworth.
