I was on a thread where I had asked for info on MD's video for supports and one reply led to another Just too cold for gardening today so decided to delete hundreds of emails and the one I want to return to has now gone. I was in contact with Sotongeoff and am replying to his question of what browser I use. The answer is google. This proves a point - I wanted to know how to bookmark things on GW rather than always writing things in books.
Don't use google as a browser -but someone wil answer your question-hopefully
There is a "followed thread" option on here where you could have found the original thread
I found it in your settings and your posts.
I use google and there is a star in the www. area that bookmarks a page.
To be technical, the browser you use is either Internet Explorer or Firefox (or some other).
Google is a search engine, that you can use from either Internet Explorer or Firefox. You can bookmark pages in both Internet Explorer and Firefox, by clicking on the appropriate icon in the top toolbar.
You can always use Google to find absolutly anything on this forum, by searching for "site:www.gardenersworld.com/forum" followed whatever you want to find.
erm-Google Chrome is a browser
Yes, that's one of the 'others'
Brilliant, I have now discovered how to bookmark. Thanks to you all
Reading about how to bookmark reminded me, can I "spellcheck" on forum please? Thank you.
There is an ABC button for spellchecking. next to the green tree.
There is a built in spell checker-ABC on the messagebar-but that may not work on i-pad?-works for me but I always use pc-I think it depends ..............
Thank you , as usual I couldn't see for looking !!
