Hi all,Just a thought,Because i still have those Spanish Bluebells in my garden,Would it be possible to plant my English Bluebells in small pots until i've dug up the Spanish ones and then plant them out,Also i've just bought 10 Snowdrops so when will i have to plant these in pots,to plant out later.

Plant snowdrops asap, they don't like drying out and are best bought 'in the green'.
I've failed to grasp the problem with putting them in the garden, they won't get contaminated by the spanish ones, The offspring will probably be crosses. If you don't let them seed this will not happen.
Being in pots will not stop them hybridising.

Any idea how best to keep the English Bluebells pure nutcutlet because i know, roughly where the Spanish ones are but won't know for sure until they surface next year.Maybe,I should leave planting them until next Autumn,What do you think?
If you've got the bulbs , plant them. They'll be dead by next year if you don't.
You keep them pure by not letting either seed till you've got rid of the ones you don't want.
The existing bulbs will not change into something else.
