Have a south facing yard and like to have a camellia in a pot there any advise please !

    If you can keep it in a shadier part of your garden Susan it'll appreciate it.  Morning sun at this time of year isn't great for it - same as Acers - and try and give it some shelter from wind as the blooms are quite delicate. Keeping it well watered in late summer is important as that's when it forms it's buds for the following spring. image

    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....



    I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

    Good advice from all of the above , but have you potted it in ericaceous compost?

    Hi everyone. Thank you for all your advice ! I will put in ericaceous compost and have a semi shelted space for it.
