Something is destroying my curly kale but i haven't yet spotted any culprits on the leaves, just clusters of what looks like very small brown droppings. Have just spotted this morning that there are also a lot of bright green and also black and white caterpillars on my carrot foliage!! Will these destroy my carrots? And could they be my kale culprits? Advice please!!

Cabbage white caterpillars, large and small varieties. They won't eat your carrots as they only like cabbages.  Something else will probably eat the carrots. That's gardening for you.
