Dwarf Cosmos

I've searched the site but cannot find an answer for this one: Should DWARF cosmos be pinched out?  As they do not grow too tall, could they be left? Any advice welcome!

I am growing them for the second year and, yes, I still pinch them out as it makes for a bushier, stronger plant.  I love themimage

I am growing dwarf cosmos for the first time, thanks to someone on the seed swap, but someone said, on another thread, that hers grew almost as big as the ordinary ones,  about 5ft, I think.

I have picked them out though.
