FRIENDLY INSECTS
I thought I would post a pic of the Unarmed Stick Insect that resides in my blackberry plant. They are quite common around here (South Cornwall) They originally came from New Zealand. She (they are all female - no males, not even in New Zealand) is much fatter now because she is pregnant. Devon has its own species of Stick Insect as does the Isles of Scilly. They are all garden friendly because they eat the leaves - only a few- not the fruit.

She's beautiful, my daughter had them in St Austell, not sure if they were wild though or if they were let out from someones tank.
Just like the vine weevil!
