I like the stone wall of the  raised bed by the path CharlieBot, sets off  both lawn and flower bed.

Given me an idea to improve on the flagged edge I have to one side of the pond. No room for a deep border but will take the plainess away edging and fence. Love the flower combinations.

Your first year! Wow! You must have worked blooming hard

Is your iPad a new model Charlie? As I can not attach pics from mine, (think mine is from the first generation)  I click on the tree icon and the info comes up but nothing happens when I then click on the select bit

Update on veggie garden. Looks like a jungle, no time to weed, house full of children and friends. Runner beans have been weeded in front so beans can be picked! Sweet corn, spinach, carrots, fennel. In weeds to right are potatoes, enormous this year, in front of fennel, don't think in picture are beetroot.

Beaus Mum, have you waited long enough? Sometimes it takes some time.

Forgot onions to right of sweet corn.

Thank you Bizzie and Beaus Mum, means a lot. Yes lots of things were in place (layout, structure, shrubs and some perennials) but I have added quite a lot and gift rid of many many weeds. Loving all the colour at the moment and already planning next year. Hopefully will be even better as I know what colour everything is now it's flowered. The bottom left pic was meant to be a red and yellow bed but a pink rose and purple phlox ended up there so will have to have a move for next time.

its an ipad 4, belongs to my work nit me though sadly.

Busy lizzie, think you should change your profile name to Veg Queen!  It looks Fantastic despite what a busy lizzie you are

Thank you for getting back on the iPad question Charlie and bet you're excited planning all your next moves and magical enhancements in your beautiful garden

Ill try again Busy L and see if it works, I'll try a bit of patience

Hi I'm new to the site but have been a subscriber for 3 years.  Just thought I'd show the great free plug plants from GW July issue.  They are very healthy and I can't wait to see them in situ.  I do hope to share more pictures later on in their development.  Happy days.

They're brilliant plants. I didn't stake them early last year and regretted it but this year I did and they've been brill. The yellow one has no lower leaves as they all got eaten and the small red one got crushed when a giant chicory fell on it but they bounced back, right as rain.
