i'm impressed Panda, how did you find it?

Had a read and think its needs too much TLC for my talents at the moment...but at £2, if it lasts indoors it'll look good for xmas...3 in a row with tiny red baubles

Thanks too Gardengirl but I think Panda wins this one x

I have googling skills par extraordinaire!  (google image search on silver plants)

Do I get a prize? Maybe one of the plants?!

when i return to buy them i will post a picture, hows that for a prize?

Hello folks  home, fed, watered and also cut OH's hair - now I'm almost asleep - why does work make me tired?  You don't have to answer that  .............

Calocephalus silver sand is something we can grow well down here. Perfect in a very hot dry wall

Am I first? Got lots of tidying up done and repotting of bits and pieces. Put some Allium sphaerocephalon into pots with the Verbena bonariensis I grew from seed so they'll go in a new raised bed next year. Lots of deadheading done but the sweet peas still doing their best. Prepared the shuttering for the step at the gate which I'll concrete tomorrow - weather permitting. Now awaiting dinner.

I've picked apples and plums, and cut up a tray of windfalls for freezing.

Fish and chips for tea, I've not got time to cook.

Evening all. Work all day and rain when come home from work so not even a tour of the garden managed

Steak and Kidney pud for tea - just right for a dull rainy evening!

Am hoping for a nice evening one night soon so I can pick the quince left on the tree (windfalls coming thick and fast!)

Scary day tomorrow  Have an appointment with a Psychiatrist to assess what the best course of treatment will be for me. Am visiting The Priory - will let you know if I spot any celebs

Bit of a far fetched way to get amongst the rich and famous panda, but good luck, hope all goes really well and positively for you. don't forget your autograph book. The circles we gardeners move in eh...
