I'm very impressed by those posts, upright and in a straight line

FG, mucho admiration.  Go girl, go girl.

Apprentice even worse tonight.  Luscious Lips, with his coat drapped over his shoulders.  Who does he think he is? Nasty lot. It seems very disjointed to me.

It's not just eyebrows. Apparently young men remove all sorts of hair in other places nowadays. Glad they didn't when I was young!

Take it easy Matty, you must be OK for the Malvern Show. Wish I was going.

08/05/2013 at 22:43

Gardengirl- you can come and help hold the posts for me while I concrete them if you like?

Only about another 20or so to do......

All this talk of hair removal's making me giddy.....

Off to bed. Night all!

Evening forkers..

Did any one see Lord Sugar on the One Show yesterday, here's some useless information, he was known as mopsy by his sister when he was little. There was a cute picture of him at 4 or 5 with a nice mop of blond curls how things change.

and has anyone heard of the new voucher craze. I read in a national rag, one mothers son scourers the Internet and other places for discount vouchers. He managed to get one of her shops down from £100 plus to £1.62, showed the receipt and how he did it, some were top brands too.

I saw that in a paper Zoomer great what vouchers can be found isn't it.

I would help but think I am a bit far from you, maybe I will send good vibes to help you

I must say night all felling tired now - so Night All

Evening. Remember Beechgrove at 7.30 tonight.

09/05/2013 at 18:50

Oh I so enjot that prog. Loads of info, just what I need. And they are not perfect gardeners either. (admit if something doesn't work)

09/05/2013 at 18:55

Evening all. Flipping cold here!

Compost bin organised just need to make a lid for it...should just have bought one at the same time... oh well.

WIll maybe watch B'grove even though I record it as I'm too weary to do anything else. Have now discovered I have oine of the 'exploding' washing machines featured on Watchdog last night...beginning to think someone up there doesn't like me.....

Very efficient cust. service though- a man coming out next week.

Which channel is Beechgrove on?  I've never seen it  Is it on past my bed time?

09/05/2013 at 19:02

It is on BBC2 Scotland tonight at 7.30. Ihope that is not past your bedtime. If you can't get that it is repeated on BBC2 on Sunday morning.

I have an Indesit, and so does DD - but she only had hers about a year ago, and mine's only two years old, so hopefully we're in the clear - but keep us informed Fairygirl

Half seven BBC 2 Dove but that's here in Scotland. Maybe you have to wait till Sunday for it

09/05/2013 at 19:15

I've had such a busy day, doing nothing. Last 15 minutes have been interesting as there has been a Biplane and a helicopter circling overhead.  Then it came over with 4 helicopters.  Always expect to hear booming music when I see helicopters.  Love to watch planes.  Get lots of them passing over here either to or from Heathrow and City.

Beechgrove 11.30 Sunday Dove.

Heating on.

I watched it on iplayer today. The information sheet is really good, plant lists etc

09/05/2013 at 19:20

Fly past just on BBC1 as you described + some others later. Battle of the Atlantic celebrations

09/05/2013 at 19:41

Oh, I missed it.  Thanks Matty. Just wish it wasn't so cloudy.  If they come over when it's dark, they might mistake my garden for a runway.,  Will get a real close up then.

Welcome Rosie. Hope you will enjoy the forum as much as we do. You'll find lots of information and advice on gardening. There is usually someone who knows. Then there are chatty threads like this one. Always ask anything everyone one here is really great
