Tina, amazing what a bit a bit of "paddy" will do. Sure the urns will be lovely. Hope you're not still cross and knees ok, you will have to strut in lower heels tonight

Woody stop the knicking idea, you've plenty in your wonderful garden.

I've done absolutely nothing in the garden today, did wander for 10 when sun finally burst thro' at 4pm, can't say admired as I've spotted all sorts needing attention. Pineapple broom now opened, and self set poppies looking good but in odd places. A weird thing has thrown up a spike ( not a sheep impailer) something that arrived many years ago in a pot with other cheapos when GC flooded. I'm sure someone will know what it is. I keep saying I'll take pics but it's an ar**. I have to take pics on camera, upload to computer, downsize them and then post them. Told you I'm still in 2000. I will take pics when it flowers and have a session on this steam driven thing. Same goes for Yucca with 3 spikes.

I should get a decent/ all singing all dancing phone, but then I'd have to ask Salino what to do with it. Couldn't put pics on until she helped. But I only send texts, don't call on it etc...little Billy no mates

Thanks Fidget for suggesting Trebah, someone else recommended that as well. Any other ideas gratefully noted down in my little notebook

Glad I'm not the only one who rarely uses their mobile Kef.  I've a PAYG and I spent £10 over 2 months.  Only talk on it if one of my lot calls me.  Can't take pics either. Suits me.

At least my paddy got things done. Calmed me down too.

Loved all the gardens WW, if you can call them gardens!  Must take up an awful lot of everyone's time. I wouldn't be able to cope.

Where was I? ...when ...how....can't remember......aaagh

oh yeah....Woody's garden....forgot.. I flew about a bit last Sunday

lovely pix Ggirl

BL - so glad you're having such a lovely holiday. The opera sounded terrific. Can't beat a bit of Mozart- unless it's Verdi of course!

And I mean Guiseppi - not Verdi in Cornwall....

KEF I can take pix on my phone but no idea how to put them on here

Been out all afternoon doing more bits to fence and making the gate for the side of house which will separate back and front gardens. Painted it but need one more bit of wood for the back supports, hinges to put on and screw together properly before putting it in place. Wanted to keep going while it was dry as it's to rain tonight and tomorrow.

Tina what was rattling your cage?

21/06/2013 at 20:45

My daugher, but an hour out the garden calmed me down and now I think - sod her. Sounds unkind, but it's how I feel at the moment.

21/06/2013 at 20:51

Fairygirl, I'm really Dverdi..........!!

Ill get my coat

21/06/2013 at 20:59

Yes Verd- get it now....

Really like the rockery nice and colourful

21/06/2013 at 21:54

You certainly took some lovely photos Gardengirl.  Wish my rockery looked like that.  More effort needed.

Gardengirl asking about the plant reminds me.  I have lots of little, weeds I think, popping up which look like carrot tops.  Can anyone help?

21/06/2013 at 21:54

Gg, that yellow plant looks like lysimachia, a take=over plant

Here is a better pic

I have that Tina Turner in the garden not sure what it is either waiting for a bit to flower to see if pretty and worth keeping

21/06/2013 at 22:24

I think it may be yellow loosestrife. It's a bit of a "thug" as it suckers underground and spreads, altho' can be pulled up.

21/06/2013 at 22:30

Thanks WW. Vaguely remember someone asking about it at sometime and thought it was suggested it was a weed.  Just my luck.  Why do weeds always spring up but never pretty plants. Had one bit last weekend, now have 4.  Sunday, it will cease to be.

21/06/2013 at 22:34

Tina well done on your painting today.I've only done a bit of deadheading myself.

Hope everyone has a good weekend

21/06/2013 at 23:12

Thanks Nutcutlet and Woodgreen wonderboy for plant ID

Was that in your garden GG or is it by the railway line so I can pinch some next time I travel your way?

Gardengirl I meant the above.
