Has anyone grown/cooked/eaten Hamburg Parsley? Apparently both the leaves and the root are edible. Have just planted some, wanted more information if poss.
Have never grown them myself, artjak, but available here in the supermarket and of course in Germany. Have looked them up on Google in German and learnt the following:
Grow, use and store as you would parsnips, soup, roasting, mashed etc. They are a bit more spicy then parsnips. The leaves can be used for soups, the young ones on the inside in place of parsley. Chopped and frozen they can be used as required.
