Wondered if any of you had seen the advert (was one on this site I think?) about a new hose sprayer that supposedly aerates the water as it squirts it out and therefore oxigenates the plants you're watering? Does this make a difference? Has anyone tried this out?
Interesting but I'm sceptical about it.
I'm more than sceptical about it.
Plants produce oxygen, using carbon dioxide and sunshine.
I can't see that this would do anything different to a normal hosepipe, with a spray attachment.
good for the manufacturers if they can convince you and sell them though.
and the water must be aerated when it's come out through the hose nozzle and through the air. but as fb points out, it's irrelevant
Do these people sell chocolate teapots as well?
Netherfield, I'd buy a chocolate teapot! But just to eat it not make tea in it!
Thanks for the responses - I thought it was just an advertising gimmick but as a newbie gardener I just don't know enough!!
