    That's the perennial Limonium latifolium aka sea lavender.

    I know those others you mean, never grown them but I think they're either annuals or non hardy perennials

    There was a big clump of this in the dell garden at Bressingham. Very like gypsophila only blue. I thought it would make a good flower arrangers plant.

    Sorry, missed off the latifolium bit when I posted.  Used to have it , but it does not survive here for some reason.

    Seems to be a reliable perennial in places where it is suited, just no here.
