I knew what it was, but how did you get it to flower???? I have lovely leaves but no flowers, I have had it for years!! Don, how did you do it? Really lovely

The old one is still there making leaves even though I dug it up
Full name is Acanthus mollis - native of S & SW Europe and NW Africa . The snails will thank you for growing this beautiful plant.
Are you sure that's mollis Pat, the leaves look a bit pointy.
