Indoor hyacinths - are they ready for some light??
I planted some prepared hyacinth bulbs at the start of November, thinking I would have a New Year display to brighten the place up, but they are romping away much quicker than last year. Do you think it is time to bring them out of the dark room and into the light ??
Many thanks

I'd give them a bit longer in the cool and dark - maybe just another week or so.

Thanks Dove - looks like they might be blooming for Christmas after all. Best laid plans and all that .......
I would put them in light, they look more than ready
I like to get them a couple of inches tall, so that the flower bud has emerged from the bulb - otherwise my experience is that sometimes the flower spike is distorted.
