Couldn't agree more. Smashing day. so nice to have dirt under the old finger nails! Beats the Monday to Friday desk job hands down!

It has been gorgeous!  And tomorrow is due to be even better.  Shame I have to waste some of it taking a teenager to football and working - ambitions to get the lawnmower out!

Sunny and dry here too. OH suggested I hired a rotovator and "do the allotment" . Nice lady at the hire place told me the price for a morning ( they close at 12.15), and said " for an extra £20 you can have it until Monday morning. £60 for the weekend, bargain.I'm surprised with the results given the rain we've had. I'll give it another go over tomorrow as it's had the sun / wind on it all day.

Happy days

its amazing what a bit of sunshine does. Plans for tomorrow pop to garden centre to see what new on the market. Have a look for something a bit tropical looking for my new project...... to create a bit of the med in my garden.Get some more seeds and cook sunday lunch while my other half plays golf. then back to the nitty griity on monday.

Lovely day, spent it on the allotment, got loads done, I've about 5 projects running at the same time, so when I got fed up with one moved onto the next.

Saw my first dandilion, when you've dug up brambles though, they don't seem to pose the same challenge but it was a reminder to cover half the plot over again with plastic.
