New R4 weatherman Stavros says its going to be in the high 20s by Thursday!!!

I dont care what Stavros says. Is he in Greece? Whats it going to be like North of the Trent?

Mmm sorry, not as warm as further south

You can tell who the wise ones are when you look at Blackest's GW map.  We are all crammed down the bottom.  Was going to say down South but Verdun says I live in the North. Funny lot those Cornish.

Ehmmmm.......are you saying I'm not wise Tina....?

you're probably right!

We used to have Stav the weatherman up here on the Scottish news - I never trusted his weather reports Dove!

I'm hoping that with a name like Stavros he's arranged for us to have Mediterranean weather for the duration

Afternoon all.

Chicky I wanted to get to  Sussex Prairie Gardens but BF stayed 'till well into afternoon today. It has been wonderful weather this weekend - and when I went in school last week I managed to get a fan for my room- no one will know whre it went  so I'm ready for hot weather.

The summer hols have gone so fast and I must say I'm not looking forward to getting up in the morning

Have a great evening all

Right, two chicken poached and deconstructed, stock reduced and cooling - rough puff pastry will be made tomorrow and chicken and leek pies assembled to put in the freezer to await visit of MIL and OH's aunt and uncle in a couple of weekends time (I think it's a couple of weekends away and not next weekend - I'd better check when he comes in).

Runner beans have been picked for this evening - now my feet are up for a little while

Really enjoyed Sussex Prairie Gardens - pictures on the gardens we have visited thread - but here's a flavour:

Now thats what I call a drift !!

Lots of plant stalls there too, so came away with a light pink sidalcea and some liatris, plus OH got some tall grasses with red feathers.  Need some stuff identifying too - will start another thread.
