I was thrilled to bits yesterday, we were about to make a pallett compost heap but on our way to the garden centre to get some plants we saw a big pallett crate on the side of the road outside a sho, the perfect size for our compost heap. The shop said we could have it so we put it in the trailer and took it home. That has saved us a ton of work. Now all we have to do is line it.
I'll post a pic when I get home
That is brilliant Lou12 makes it simpler
Trying to figure out the shed and how the pallets will go
Whoa Gardengirl, that's a load of lovely pallets Are you going to make a shed out of them? Hope your allotment is going from strength to strength
Great find Lou, I'm hoping for a pallet compost heap this year
Hello Hollie hock yes going to make a pallet shed, big thing to do - took a while to decide to make my own shed
Allotment has turned into a cardboard plot to cover the weeds stop them getting tall, lots of digging planning to start for the shed area hope can on the weekend if weather ok lots still to clear
Got a few piles of pallets in garden now - still want more
That's a great project, will look forward to some pictures. They look like really good ones, haven't been pallet and skip hunting for ages.
Thanks Hollie hock, I have a nose at the skips on the way to the allotment but nothing yet of any good
Here is a pic of the long pallet planks I got the other day
and here is a pic of the pallet bits I got today 2 together in pic 3 planks on one pallet - going to use them as fencing around allotment plot got 20 of them and they will be getting more that we can have
Will be making a coldframe out of one of the pallets in the garden the boards are nice and close together
The project so far. Steel frame to be painted black.
Nothing done without the supervision of man's best friend.
