there are a lot of parks and commons around here and what a joy it is to see them being enjoyed by all groups of people  in the community .Some years ago the parks where in poor shape and tired and few people used them and the playgrounds in a bad way and there was tired air to them. I have to say that common where I live did have  a lot of wildlife ,such as black headed gulls who visited in winter in numbers and also starlings along with bobbing pied wagtails and at first when the numbers people walking dogs increased and the parks in proved with playground s,the number of birds seem to decrease and I thought all was lost but now they seem to have adapted to the  surroundings and are  now back  .It is a joy to see people enjoying,, and especially children, these open space and we do need these breathing spaces for humans and wild life.
