Hi Everybody,

being fairly new to gardening I'm looking for some advice, some primulas I have in pots look to me that they have frost damage, ie brown mushy leaves On some lower leaves. But not on all the plant.

I would like to know if there is anything I can do to save the plant.

I'd pull off the dead leaves Deckchair. The weather we've had it's more likely to be wet damage than frost They're very hardy. Do the newer leaves in the middle look OK?

Hi Deckchair - good name

I suspect that these are just the older leaves that are dying off.  It's good gardening practise to remove the 'brown mushy leaves' so that they don't attract slugs and snails etc, and so that any rot doesn't spread into the main part of the plant.

Hi nut cutlet, and dovefromabove,

thanks for quick replies, I'll remove the dead leaves and hope the plants will survive.

kind regards
