Alan, "bots" (short for robots) are small programs which  go through postings on Websites looking for particular words. The bot (used by Google, Bing, and other Search engines) then uses the words it finds   when people search for things.

For example a posting on here might contain the word 'Violets'. The bot would pick that up and then when you or I search Google for 'violets' the posting on here might be shown.

perhaps we look but do not know the answer,or perhaps we have answered the question before and are over questioned.any way answered here!
