I read on the Garden Organic website that a renewed threat is put on seed production, and hence the Heritage Seed Library. The news can be read here, together with the (easy) steps that each one can take in order to voice his/her discontent if so wished:

Please circulate this as widely as you find it appropriate because it hasn't hit the headlines (yet), and by the time it does (if ever), then it may be too late to act.

It's a bit late, as far as I can see, the objections had to be registered by Dec 4th.

There is a thread on here called 'Salad leaves' which is something like this.

Not sure if its about the same thing as the above link.

There's something about it on real seeds main page which mentions Dec 10th and some interesting text on the left at the bottom of the page which seems a good way around it.  I noticed it the other day.  I have no connection with the site other than as a satisfied customer:

Thank you Bob, it gives yet another way of responding to the renewed threat of seed regulations. The Garden Organic website doesn't specify any date, and the actions are slightly different from real seeds in that we write to the shadow rapporteurs instead... Now I wrote to all: MEPs and (ghost?) rapporteurs. Thank you for the tip!
