This happens every year, but they will stop when it gets colder and darker and flower at the right time - not the paperwhites though, they are bred specifically for forcing and that's what they will do, flower once and die - you don't get anything coming back if you plant them out, unlike forced hyacinths which will flower again in a year or two.
Yes they are paperwhites but bought for planning in the garden not forcing. Not great to hear that they will die at the end of it with no repeat flowering..

they look like paperwhites, which are often grown to flower at Christmas. Early though I'd admit.
I noticed today that my Crocus bulbs that I planted a few weeks ago have started growing too.

They're not hardy, they come from the med. area. Put then in a pot indoors
