Talkback: Birds - install a window bird feeder

I would like to know what can I do to save my hebes? the one in the front garden has practically died and the one in the back garden is slowly turning brown, this one flowered last summer. What am I doing wrong? please help.

I have had a window feeder on the office window for about 3 weeks. the birds refuse to use it. They still visit the bird table close by and the robins come to the window sill-we even had a blue tit in the office. Any idea what I can put there to encouage them? Currently using porridge oats, meal worms and sunflower hearts , yum
