I saw Toby last year on Gardeners' World re-using plastic plant labels but can't remeber what he used to clean off the existing writing with. I used a brillo pad myself but there may be a better way. Any advice?
Hi tsauce, after scouring the web, I have found out that providing that the mould is the white furry type, it does not affect living plants, but attacks overwatered toilet roll tubes/newspaper pots etc. I have the same problem! p.s. I do not know if the source of this information is 100% correct.

How do I clean permenant  marker off old plant labels

Use wire wool. It removes it quite easily.
