I am growing Butternut Squash from Dig In. I have them in the ground and they are spreading quickly but no small fruits are appearing, only several flower buds. Should I stop the spreading to allow the plants to concentrate on fruiting?

Our weather has been much better in the north it seems but I've had the seeds on the go since January. I now have enough seedlings to open a small nursery but nowhere to sit and eat!
