All my veg seem to be slow starters this year with the changing weather-even my many greenhouse tomato plants are not as tall as usual and cucumbers barely moving. At last I have broad beans, if very small. and peas but not much else so far-but things seem to be moving-especially with the rain we are having today.[The weeds are growing fast!] Like most people in the recent hot spell I had a job to stop everything getting frazzled by the sun my old net curtains were a great help as was a large golf umbrella. Everything dried up so quickly even with lots of extra watering. Lets hope things settle down soon and all our veg can really get going.
