Hiya Pentillie

Weather in Cornwall is superb.  Hope it will be tomorrow etc for you.  Think it will be

Busy-Lizzie

It's a lovely day today after quite a bit of rain. Beds were dry now they've been watered, without any effort from me.

FloBear

Liz, I would be delighted to have a decent shower of rain - how lovely that your beds got a watering

I have had a very happy day, the sun shone, everything is growing, including the leaves of the beech trees. Planted out a lot of freebies, some aqulegias, grape hyacinths, londons pride, all destined to the bin, but now they have a new home.

Gardening Grandma

I'm happy because today we booked a holiday in Tenerife for next January to celebrate OH's 70th birthday. A week of sunshine in January! Right now, I'd prefer to b e here in the UK, with everything springing up in the garden and the hope of summer ahead. Lovely!

That's good news GG, something to look forward to during winter months & a pick me up ready for action in the spring.

Did you consider asking about the greenhouse next door? We left our last house for a bigger garden & when we said goodbye to our tearful neighbour she said if only she'd known that I wanted more space, we could have used the top half of her garden. Wouldn't have been ideal as I wouldn't have felt it was mine, but we might have stayed longer and not "bitten off" the rundown house we bought. 13yrs and there's still some indoor stuff to do. But, I'm happy as I love my garden.

I'm happy today because I've at last got some proper gardening done

I agree; finally I don't have to endlessly accomodate difficult people who are paying my fees any more, honestly, I could tell you stories about some of them that would turn your hair back to it's natural colour...

Art...

I'm only 27 so my hair is totally natural anyway....

FG, Oh yeah; that's what they all say!

Pentillie - we watched at home - what a thriller  Go Raffa Go!!

Great that Chelsea won.  You would be a fool to lose Benitez pentillie.  He has a habit of winning the big ones.  Bet the atmosphere was fantastic there

Pleased for Benitez! A good man who has been treated badly by a lot of Chelsea followers - I've been a fan for 50 years, and I feel ashamed at the actions of some of the idiots who follow the Club. But, a good night all round, and for 10 days Chelsea will be holders of the two major European trophies.

I'm happy that it's Friday tomorrow and part time work feels good
