Home No2 in Malaga looks very likely indeedy, got to be better than HERE ? your not on your own dmball !
-3 / -4 in mids tonight, beware them tender plants if OUTSIDE !? in the greenhouse
Been in a friends greenhouse helping build his benches, to be honest whilst the heating was on in there it was great, BUT when i decided it was time for lunch and came out that wind ..... water to my eyes as they say, still pretty much the same tomorrow troops so keep filling then seed trays eh
Not sure what the weather is going to be over the next few days .................. one lot of weather forecaster say this then another lot say that ? what i do know it wont be like last easter !! chilly this morning minus 1 brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr , cuppa calling
Looks like a reasonable day out there. Snowed last evening but did not settle. Often, you might just as well look out of the window as listen to the forecast, our weather is so changeable. Maybe I'll get some gardening done outside - mulching, bulb planting, feeding, topping up pots, etc. Plenty to do.
Cold this morning (but there's a shock ) sun has made an appearance just to remind me of what it looks like like - has been -2 here in the night ! bbrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, still plenty to do for me, fuchsia cuttings need taking out of netpots and potted into "3" pots, plus ive got another 6 smaller standards to pot on ...........
I have been worrying about when would be the best time to cut the grass, the local council (bless em) have started cutting grass in this area. I did notice that the grass is not growing so fast this year so maybe save a little on electric. Not so good inside though heating bills going throught the roof. Heard on the radio that this weather is going to last well into Ap;ril and maybe longer.
Yes sterelitza i heard the same ................ at least until 22nd April ! which is not good for us gardeners !! dont cut your grass yet.
a bright sunny day here..
BB I cut my grass and edges last week..two days of sunshine and the wind had dried it out enough..looks ok..trimmed edges too...aerated a weedy bit but didn't scarify..not expecting to be able to do much more befor end of april.
enjoy the day - whatever you're doing
Damm ! just started snowing here !
Lovely sunny day here, but temperatures dropping like a lead balloon when the sun goes down. The sun is lovely, and did have a bit of power in it, lots of things dripping as the snow melts, but the ground still frozen solid. Fed up with it now, want a thaw so I can sow things and know there will be somewhere to put them (wonder if I could swap a kidney for a greenhouse?)
Had a flurry of snow first thing in essex but has been bright sunshine for the most of today, even managed to get in the pond and sort pumps outs, also first sign of hostas coming into view down the shelterd bit of the garden
Well should i say it ........................... ohh go on then, colder than average temperatures for this time of the year, snow flurries yesterday, not really sure what were going to get today BUT i wont be cutting the grass ..................................................................................... just yet
No cutting of grass here either, it's covered by an inch of new snow this morning! Yesterday it rained and seemed to warm up a bit, but St. Peter was just having us on! Poor birdies are completely confused, have run out of bird food and the shops have removed any supplies and exchanged it for fertilizer, slug pellets etc. etc. It's enough to make you spit!!!!
SSue the shops here are full of shorts, bikinis and skimpy tops...and that's just the menswear department... You'd think it was 80 degrees out there...oh well i suppose we can dream...
Cold this morning as per the usual, here -1, word is weather improving middle of April ? time will tell i suppose ?
Need to get outside today and do a little prepping forkers so i hope the sun makes a rare appearance ...... prob not ?
Very cold this morning -4 but good news the sun is out now it was a nice day yesterday got my veg bed ready and covered for planting once the frost decides to stay away.
