On page 20 of January's Magazine a comment has appeared bearing my namestyle. I did not write it, so I am naturally concerned that material in my name has appeared in a national magazine without my knowledge or permission.
I could not think of another way to bring this to your attention and I apologise if this is not the right way. Please let me know what is going on?

I wrote the piece that is attributed to you, gardening genes. I mentioned it back in December, when the article came out. I thought they didn't like my nickname, so amended it. I did not realise at the time that there was someone with that name on here.
I'd threaten to sue unless I got half the fee gardeninggenes On the other hand, you have got your name in print without any effort.
Looks like a bit of a copywriting/cut & pasting error - mistakes do happen, they shouldn't but we're all human - you could contact Daniel via a PM and just let him know .... ?
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Thankyou fidgetbones for letting me know, sorry I unwittingly robbed you of your moment of glory. I did not find it immediately, but was looking through my last few edition and spotted it then.
Thanks to KT53 if only it had been something I wrote!!! But I have no hedge so I was doubly puzzled.
Thank you for the advice, all of you, but DovefromAbove can you please tell me who is Daniel and what is a PM?
Right, sorry - Daniel Haynes is the Editor of the online Gardeners World and as such in charge of this Forum and the rest of the website.
A PM is a Private Message - it's a way of messaging an individual member of the forum privately without it being visible to everyone else.
What you do is you go to the big where your name is on the top right hand corner of this page and you'll get a dropdown menu with some options - click on My Messages and you'll get a page where you can send a message to any member of the forum including Daniel.
If it doesn't work for you (and sometimes there are blips, or I may not have explained it clearly) then let us know and we'll try to help.
