Yew tree planting

I am looking to buy some top soil in preparation for planting a row of yew trees on my boundary. My local top soil producer said he could add some mushroom compost to the basic top soil but I don't know if that's ok. Would yew trees benefit from a top soil blended with mushroom compost? Does it add nutrients and if so should I not add any further feed or bonemeal when planting the trees?

Mushroom compost tends to have an alkaline pH level, so it wouldn't be good for Yew which prefers ericaceous soil
Thank you Verdun. Our sub soil is chalky so it shouldn't get waterlogged. If it is low in nutrients should I add feed or bonemeal or blood/fish and bone at planting time?
Great. Thank you.
