Barrel Greenhouse Giveaway

Not posting any links, but wanted to let you know that at Carrick Cooperage we have a competition running on facebook and twitter just now to give away a barrel greenhouse kit worth £400. Yes, very nice, but at 400 pounds you could buy a cheap greenhouse much bigger, and less likely to topple in strong wind. If you are marketing it as somewhere to propagate and overwinter plants, lots bigger and better products for cheaper. Sorry to seem like a stick in the mud, just saying it as I see it.

I looked at the site too and they seemed a bit top heavy and v. v. v.  expensive

They do look top heavy. I suppose they'd need a sheltered spot. Rather beautiful, though.

GG is one for the eye-candy.. lol, tough I say tough, easy to make that rubbish, and actually make something way more useful..

Well, as long as he's giving us the chance to win one and doesn't expect anyone to buy anything .... and he did ask nicely, unlike some people who pretend they're posting a real query or post out and out spam.
