Not an outstanding shot by any means....but not too bad considering it was taken free hand from about half a mile away.
Sky is exciting tonight..
^ the bank opposite Platform 3 at Milton Keynes station
Not a permanent feature then David s
Ighton - that makes me hold my breath for some reason! Really moody - hope you haven't got a bad storm coming.
great cloud pictures ighten
Summer solstice visit to Brimham Rocks:
The Sun was behind the cloud at that point. I didn't get a good picture of it actually setting.
The sky and silhouettes of some of the rocks.
Rocks silhouetted against the sky around 23:33 BST, 22:26 local solar time.
Wild rose in hawthorn. The flowers almost seem to glow.
A farm in the area:
Part of the garden
The cream flowers are elder. The white ones are a huge rose bush. The cream-and-white things in the grass are sheep.
There are about 6 acres of woodland there, full of nettles, brambles, goosegrass and birdsong.
Two willow trees on opposite banks leaning over and twining together like lovers.
A wall top covered in soft moss and another rose.
Just back from a pleasant stroll around my local reservoir.
Oh dear.....were they as bad as that??
I've entered this one in tonight's camera club competition. Named it 'Ducks at Dusk'.
Wow David, fantastic dusk pictures. As you know, I love sunsets and these are amazing I didn't look on here last night by the way.
Fab pics from everyone else too, love the clouds Ighten
Great pics David, love sunsets too. Love the one with the ducks
lovely pics everyone
Nothing remarkable about this 'Perle d' Azur' clematis you may think, but it is quite remarkable that the above is about 20ft high in the canopy of my old damson tree. It appears every year about this time and gets no attention whatever.....in fact, I'm not sure where the roots are.
A Stargaze lily David......
lovely pics as always.

A Stargaze lily David......
So it is! They were part of some flowers bought for me for taking care of her garden while she was on holiday.
She's a really good gardener herself, but she still tells people how lucky she is, as her garden always looks better after her hols than before.
The sunset picks are beautiful Dave k.
Its amazing how long the chemical trails last compared to the condensation trail.
Great pics though, please keep them up.

Crikey, omitted to say my daughter's garden.
