My Maternal Grandmother
David, I doubt either family had money to pay a photographer, so would these have DIY ones? The first must have been taken about 1924, the other I've no idea.
p.s. David, thank you for last info' about my camera Glad I haven't "broken" it.
Did you take that today Lulu?
A lot of the pics i've got are small ones and they're not working on here. I'm going to have a good look during the week for photos, keep remembering ones I should have but can't find lol.
They look like nannies should, don't they Kef. The second one reminds me a bit of my nan, I remember having great cuddles from her, a loving jolly lady.
KEF - I assume you don't think I was around in the roaring twenties!
Seriously, I think camera ownership was pretty general at the turn of the century and your family's pics would have been processed by chemists.
Probably DIY processing started sometime in the 50s.
Thank you for your lovely frosted rose. Lulu.
Soz David Ta for info'.
Lily what a little poser..and beautiful little girl. Woz going to post a good one of my basin cut, and missing tooth but I'll wait.
I've found the card I mentioned, envelope didn't scan well, but you've guessed Macro'd it
Don't know what happened after that, lol.
And even closer !
This feature on cameras is thrilling me.
Confused or Blushing?
Both blooms were on the same stem.
Better still the same bloom!
