Anyone know a similarly good cookery forum website?  Since the BeeB closed their boards I have not found its like.  Thanks

I have been on the Nigel Slater and co on the B.B.C site which was very good.I did not know that they had stopped.What a shame it was so good and easy .Nigel Slater is on face book but I dont know if his recipes are.

This is a forum set up by some of the ex BBC regulars - a nice friendly forum with lots of expertise too   I'm a regular there.

Because the Board was targetted by spammers we've introduced a short period of Moderation for new members - but it's only a short period - I think that the more you post the sooner it ends.  

And it's no good looking for Dovefromabove on there - I'm someone else there (have had the roughly same moniker since the BBC Food Board days - you'll have to see if you can work out who I am  Or, if you use the same name I'll know who you are and I can welcome you - there is a special thread where new members can introduce themselves (it's in the Coffee Shop).

It is a really helpful and friendly site, and I've made quite a few real and virtual friends on there, and we have Meets all over the country (very informal and friendly).  I hope you enjoy the Board 

Dove fromabove, I have just wasted 5 really frustrating minutes trying to join this wretched website. The 'Kapcher' I'm not sure how to spell this word, DOES NOT WORK!!! It keeps changing even though one fills it in correctly it says that it is wrong and gives a new bit of gobbledegook.

How odd - I'll let them know - Bobloes seems to have managed it
