Hi all,can anyone explain these flower discs as iv never heard of them before, are they a mix or just one type of flower ,do they come in different sizes sort of thing and are they any good,

Hi Alan, ive never used flower discs, i assume they will be the same principle as seed tapes, seed is pressed into a sort of paper which means no fiddily sowing and perfect spacing, im not sure if they add any nutrients. All you do is lie them on top of soil, sprinkle soil on top then water. Ive no idea on sizes as that would vary depending on who you buy them from. What are you looking for?

Bet that cooled you down!

Alan, the gardens at East Ruston have good disabled access, so if you could beg, borrow or steal a mobility scooter I don't think there's any parts that you'd not be able to access - we'll leave it with you - keep an eye on the thread - after all, I think Kate deserves some civilised company even if you were tagging along
