Oooh you have been busy forkers while I've been slumped in front of the telly! Is there much clearing up to do after the celebrations. Bags I wash up, someone else can dry.
Pam, thanks for your message, I've just found it.
Right, turning in soon. Nighty night all.

I should have been in bed hours ago! Going now, night all!
Yesterday was Candlemas Day, half way between the shortest day and Spring equinox, Mar 21.
Ye Olde weather proverbes....
"If Candlemas Day be fair and bright Winter will have another fight. If Candlemas Day brings cloud and rain, Winter won't come again."
"If Candlemas Day be dry and fair, The half o the winter's to come and mair; If Candlemas Day be wet and foul, The half o the winter's gane at Yule."
Also the day traditionally associated with snowdrops coming into flower.
took me 50 mins to get through to docs only to be told no appointments left but i coud have a telephone consultation. Pointed out the problem so then was told there may be an appointment later but will have to wait for them to ring at 10
Not many up and about yet
As the mornings get lighter seem to be sleeping in longer-didn't wake up till 8-what is that all about?
Did the early morning walk down the garden-surprisingly not that cold or windy-which was good -wouldn't want the flaps coming open on the dressing gown that early
Am now decent-this Candlemas day plus1
Morning halfway-to-spring folk.
Bunny, don't envy you the wild and rainy walk
I'm off to see my alternative therapies woman in a bit. I should be exuding calming and positive vibes when I get back.
Flapping open, Geoff, too much information
Bother, yesterday was lovely for a change. Did some weeding in flower garden and prepared bed for broad beans in veg garden. Back aches. Looking at Gary's poem looks like we are to have more horrid weather. Grey and wet this morning.
Can anyone tell me what this smiey means, it has odd eyes?

Bunny, snap. I had a terrible night's sleep. Awake every couple of hours, but then, this is becoming normality for me since Jess has been born. Strange.
Anyways, cloudy sky, but the sun is trying, I can tell. Hopefully it will brighten up later. Plan so sort the bedroom out later, and a bit of ironing.
That smiley is Dissapointed.
I forgot to say Morning All
Still waiting for phone call!
Thanks Becks, it's a weird one though.
I think mothers don't sleep so well after children are born as hormones are saying to keep an ear out for the child. It was the same for me. Next bad sleep time is the menopause!
sunshineing bright here hopfully one more week stuck in doors
Thanks Lizzie! I'll look forward to that!
