Just watching pictures of the torch relay from the town-it is miserable and wet but there loads of crowds-decided not to stand in the rain but could go at 6am tomorrow?

Well bully for you-it hasn't brightened up at all and it will be dark in a couple of hours.

Not sure about the morning-will sleep on it

I cannot believe the difference an hours sunshine makes to those poor flowers.

It is 5.35-I am creeping around so as to not wake any one up-going to look at a torch-should I be searching for slugs?

Am back-there were hundreds of people lining the streets at 6am on a Sunday morning-have seen the torch -and loads of police-will post some pictures later-going back to bed

Well, I can do you an Olympic Torch...

An Olympic Torch would make an original garden ornament. Perhaps a Greek athlete/athletess bearing same (or a scarecrow) according to taste and style of garden - classical or rustic.

I have dead headed, staked and tied for hours, the mini plugs have been potted on and all is well in the world

It was 6.00 on a Sunday morning on the way out of town and really did not expect to see many people-it was all over in minutes of course but even the police wave as they go past--met police police a lot of them-so a lot of cheering and happy people-

I cannot believe that many people were out at 6am???

I will not mention the potatoes

Sorry-but I was quite pleased with them- will not mention it again

Had a bit of a disaaaaster dahilng-went to use the mower and the fuel line has a split-have ordered a replacement but will have to wait-good old e-bay

The promised all day sun did not materialise-but the weather people say by the end of the week Summer will be here
