My Ma was supposed to have gone, but now with the care she receives she is thriving. They say she could go on another 10 years - don't want to think about it.

Have you looked at Saga - we got what I think is a very good deal from them. 

No - went on a web site thing and was surprised at difference in payments.

Have to make mind up by end of month. OH not 65 till next year but FA says we can get money/ annuity now. Certainly will make life a little easier until state pension kicks in.

The other girl from the Waltons was Erin, and the boys were Ben and Jason. Belle and Sebastian was the one with the little boy living in the Pyrennees with his mountain dog, Belle. And then there was White Horses....showing my age!

I've put the washing on, hung another load out to dry, stripped the bed and am about to clean the bathroom. Weekends - who says they're for resting??

Don't have the aged parent problem yet, although its fast approaching - and am glad the aged grandparent isn't my responsibility.

Bacon sarnies on the way - homemade tomato ketchup - not brown sauce

similar to chutney. Used a Hairy Biker recipe, changed slightly. Still on first lot I made, tweeked the recipe for 2nd lot - still pleasd with it.

Gave bottles of it to family members for Christmas

My mother died last year aged 87 and my father died 4 years ago aged 86. Daddy was well before and it was unexpected but Mummy broke her hip and went downhill from then. It was a worry, but I have other brothers and sister in England. I still went over every 2 months or so when she was in a home.

Loved Champion the Wonder Horse when I was little, like the Lone Ranger and Wagon Train too and used to watch Little House on the Prairie with my daughter when she was little. They showed it in France too.
