Hi all ,back from shopping, thought I didn't have much in the trolley - mistaken there! Got Skyfall blu-ray for 12.99 as spent more than 30 quid, DVD was 7.99.

Bunny, customer for what? Have I missed something?

Trying to snow every now and then, will probably wait until I am in work tomorrow.

Haven't seen that post sorry Derek , sounds like you have had a good day though.

Glyn we work from home, we have customers here now n again..... I'm not a real bunny rabbit hehe
Those shopping trips are deceiving arnt they.

Well, all this talk of cake has prompted me to bake some.

Glyn, Bunny runs a business building campervans.

Afternoon everybody!

Chilly here, got out for a bit of tidying and weeding this morning but had to give up as my fingers were killing me! Thermal gloves on too.
Never mind, I wrestled the bramble out from the back of the greenhouse. It is growing though the fence from next door

Treated myself (not) to pile of ironing
At least it's done.

Treated myself to some cake after that. Tried a new recipe from a book I got for Christmas-tomato soup cake!!
It is a traybake, spiced with ginger and cinnamon and has raisins in it. It is nice but all the time you are eating you are trying to see if you can taste the soup!

Bunny, I can't imagine you waiting patiently for one minute! It is still in the oven! Not sure at what point you joined the thread, but my baking cake skills are not exactly brilliant, as everyone else knows. You may not want a slice of my offerings. One was so bad Dean thought it was a yorkshire pudding!

Hi Nola! Give yourself a pat on the back for at least having a go!

Hi Becks!

What are you baking today?
22/02/2013 at 17:14

Tomato soup cake ???

22/02/2013 at 17:15

Just fairy cakes and a big sponge. I wanted to do an apple cake, to use up some normal Golden Delicious I have, but didn't think it would work, so just a basic sponge.

22/02/2013 at 17:16

Oh im just learning baking , only feed us two  yorky pudd cake sounds good

I can be patient ...

22/02/2013 at 17:16
Hi Bunny, it does sound bizarre. The recipe said that nobody would guess the soup was in it if you didn't tell them! It was Heinz I used
22/02/2013 at 17:17

Could make an apple pudding  cant mind proper name apples on bottom cake on top

22/02/2013 at 17:19

Had to look it up nola ,looks like carrot cake  dont know if i dare tell OH , he likes tom soup

22/02/2013 at 17:22
Thinking of Eve's pudding, Bunny?

Sure they will be lovely Becks!
I need to try and stop eating as much cake. I made choc chip buns as well, in case tomato soup cake didn't work.
22/02/2013 at 17:23
It is rather orange!
22/02/2013 at 17:24

Ooh, choc chip buns. But again, last time I made them, all the choc chips ended up at the bottom of the cakes, and made a gooey mess. I really am a baking disaster.

22/02/2013 at 17:25

Thats it eves pudd ! , just googled apple cake images wow there are loads, looks nice. Choc chip buns too. Ohhhh what to bake tomorrow. Maybe choc drop tray bake , victor sponge, bakewell cake, ohhh ohhhh i may have to consult mary berry later .

I need to stop the cake but not in this weather, i need the insulation

22/02/2013 at 17:26

Ive never made them before becks so my choc would prob end up the same, OH still eats them , Im told it is just practice (by my mum) .

22/02/2013 at 17:27

Hehe do we get a piccie of the orange cake , bet still nice

22/02/2013 at 17:40

All this talk of cake  Like Flo having to leave off things like that as last WW was not good.

Becks if you put chopped up apple in tin sprinkle with a little sugar and put sponge mix on top, cook you have upside down pudding and cake

Geoff has been around forum. Hope I didn't upset him
