Bust-Lizzie, this is the most fun I've had for weeks. As a fully fledged MOB, I feel I must congratulate you on your choice of neighbours. You have shown superb taste.

Have inspected my growing bag compost-nice crumbly stuff with no bits-will get a load more-there must be around 30 litres in there-that will do for me

Morning all.
Sue, that sounds a horrible injury   Just thinking about it gives me the squeams  - as does that dangly yellow thing from last night

Glad Gary is staying focused and feeding the birdies it's still so cold!

Trouble with ??1 shops near us is that they are mostly situated in the middle of Leeds. Would have to walk miles through pedestrian area to car park. Would need mules!!
Bunny ...
Same here Sue , in middle of pedestrian area. Hehe @ mules . Maybe Geoff has a couple of miles :?
Sue H
Also. Would not be easy. Hand still throbbing. Full of glue and steristrips. Big bandage. Ok if I just sit here and issue orders. Still have to go to saltmines though?

Morning  ( Just ) Been busy this morning - done some top- dressing and prepared some more seed discs. The first ones I planted are up so will keep a check.  Think it was Sue who recommended planting them early.  Hope you're not in too much pain Sue , sounds nasty.

Well done on the compost front Geoff - I'm always in £ land.

Morning to everyone else.

FloBear

Sue, I'm not sure that mules are the ideal thing for walking miles in

Haaa. Dont think those m6les would be much good to any needy gardener!!!

Mules???

G'day All

Left suddnely last night -mouse playing up - I think i will have to get a new one

Been to WW

then went to Wilko, bought a bag of their multi purpose to see what it is like - 20l size. Also bought 2 more begonias - yellow - the only colour I haven't got

I have a large bag but it is soo wet I just get extra messy and I need some for in the house things so I hope this will be dryer. Last year I used grow bags - didn't manage to get any that price though (green envy smiley)

Home now - OH has fixed mouse - for now.

Sue how did you manage to slice fingers - it sounds really painful

The look of those mules makes my foot go ouch Mind you it would be lovely to be able to wear any sort of feminine shoe rather than these horrible trainers

Rosa. Trying to juggle (wash) large sharp knife. Wet. Slipped !!

Trainers rosa ? You sound like me

Which idiot (me) decided the hands and knees approach in foot gap digging nettles out by hand in sodden wet clay was a good idea

Mules.. Can't wear those..trip up these days hehe

Just had a grumble on MOB. Well it makes me so cross when they say it's genetic - weight

I have to wear trainers - doctors orders so am beginning to hate them - even when I go out dressed up what' s on my feet - trainers

FloBear

Oh, Bjay, that's awful for you - dress up clothes and trainers.  Have to be sweep-the-floor dresses and trousers to cover them up. A friend of mine wore white furry slippers the whole of her wedding day apart from the walk up annd down the aisle.

Sue, I did a very similar thing when I was a child - my Dad had just sharpened all the kitchen knives!

Jean Genie

Bjay, what about those flat sandal - type shoes that you can buy ? They have velcro strips on them to fit the width of your foot.

Can't beat a bacon buttie

Bunny ...
Aww I have been wearing with ortho insoles as sciatic back pain ended up plantar fasciitis in foot , so been in trainers a while, can swap insoles about now to boots or wellies... As for summer ...hmmmm

Haven't had bacon buttie for ages, just waiting for bread machine to beep ...1 min to go , got nettles almost out ...

BEEEEEEEEP BEEEEEEP mmmmmmmm
