Hi ,Americans think that because they may be the most powerful nation on earth that they don't need to know any thing about the little guy or how accomplished he or she is ,if they don't tally with Uncle Sam they we don't matter .

That's the last time I help daughter out!! She can use up her precious leave to stay in for overpriced stuff. She's even moaned about me putting my car away, when she was supposed to be treating me to a meal out tonight. Beans on toast I think now, & tough if she doesnt like beans, she doesnt, so her meal?????

26/02/2013 at 17:48

We kept Terry Wogan

26/02/2013 at 17:53

Feeling better now Geoff?

I am attempting to construct a cardie from my kntting - so far have had to undo it once - sewed wrong sides together Probably have to undo more before I've finished

Can't think of any Irish except for great great grandfather of OH, he was something to do with horses - well what else

26/02/2013 at 17:53

I think I have found two more generations back - and I''m now in Devon - quite a surprise as the surname is Welsh! Either that or I'm following up the wrong family!! Wouldn't surprise me. Also I wish people could have had a little more imagination - it seems all first born sons were given the same name as their fathers, or the names reversed.

Must stop now, its son no. 2's birthday tomorrow so I've got to source a cake.

26/02/2013 at 17:56

Well done - I found a long stream of John's - still have a mystrey of one that I need to follow through as my grandfather is also the 'grandfather' of a completely different family - I know I'm right

26/02/2013 at 17:57

Lottie! are you using one of these site thingybob's? Ancestry etc

26/02/2013 at 17:59

I use Ancestry 'thingybob' and Genes Reunited. Got reunited with someone I didn't want to be reunited with so don't use it much any more
