They all go in my very capacious back passage which also stores all my logs and 2 of bloke's motorbikes.

Difficult to take a picture though. Oh, and my garden vac's there too. And all my trugs.

Ha HA HA Becks.

I had to work out how many units a week - it's down to about 7 a week - still not losing the weight though.

I'm so fed up with the sky just being a blah grey, it's like living underneath a saucepan lid. Does anyone else find their energy levels zoom up when the sun shines, and slump in the gloom?

Is that SAD?

01/03/2013 at 17:35

I've got a mega family lunch this Sunday, have all the stuff ready to do some of the prep, but can't be bothered to drag myself away from the computer and get productive.  I know I'll regret it....

Do you know, I think it is SAD. Mood starts to slump in November. Maybe I'll have an Amazon ramble for one of those lights which are meant to help.

I'm a gloom in the grey person too, full of the joys when the sun comes out.

POET'S day?

01/03/2013 at 17:55

Hello,all--been up for awhile, and the chores are done--think I will have a lazy day today. I have taken up knitting again to keep my hands busy and my mind off food and smoking. I found a pattern for a sweater that is knit on one huge and one small needle, so it goes very quickly.

Love the snowdrop photo--some things like these and daffs and crocus look so fabulous in drifts. And today is the first day of daffodil month!

Reading back, I think it's time you got your mind out of the dark back passage, out of the bins, and off to the garden!!! Or at least cheer up and eat some cake. I've made banana carrot loaf for my friend--she has a sweet tooth, so I iced it and covered it with sprinkles.

She is having a major operation on Monday and they are removing [amongst other things] part of her pancreas-so after that, she will be diabetic--no sweets.Hope she survives until her 90th birthday, which is in July. She's very brave.

In a past life I was a diabetic specialist. Diabetes doesn't mean no sweets, means smart sweets.
