It is salad days -ham salad would be lovely

Flo-this sounds about my level

I hate computers and stuff

22/07/2012 at 15:12

Ham salad it will be.

Geoff have you broke it?

22/07/2012 at 15:32

Keep kicking it-my guess is it is not me- but them

I am expecting power cuts and water shortages during the lympics.

Still spasmodic-perhaps they do all the necessay work on a Sunday afternoon it is the connection that seems to be the problem and I have checked everything at my end of the pipe-must be a blockage upstream

Only a few days to go to the Greatest Show on Earth-are we all happy?

MIL is unhappy, she is so close she will not get any visitors.

22/07/2012 at 15:56

She could rent a room to Usain Bolt and make a few shillings

22/07/2012 at 16:24

I will pass this advice on.

Still sunny here I have changed the bed, done some hovvering, all go here

Two weeks ago someone posted this...

Gary Hobson wrote (see)

You could put a tenner on Bradley Wiggins to be holding the yellow jersey on the Champs-Elysees in a fortnight's time...

But I won't gloat about it.

Just went out and anointed the garden with comfrey tea---it's very stinky outside, but it's supposed to rain later on, so hope that will take care of it. Are you excited about the Olympics yet--was a great party in Vancouver last time, but we are still paying for it. I watched on telly, crowds not my thing.

We've been excited for weeks, ever since Wimbledon. Hoping the weather holds, it will make such a difference for everyone. We'll all be watching on telly (those that like such things). Geoff (on here) watched the torch pass near his home - he posted a couple of pics on here, a few pages back. BBC will be streaming 24 channels, don't know when we'll get much time for gardening.

I did not put my tenner on, this was his lucky charm.

Thank you. Brad and the boys will be so grateful for your selfless action.

I aim to please

Any TV recommendations for tonight?

22/07/2012 at 17:12

Have come in from tan topping-what have I missed?

Dancing on ice special on ITV

World's Most Dangerous roads on BBC2

other than that -then not much

Neighbour decides grass needs cutting at 4.30-this will take at least the next 2 hours

22/07/2012 at 17:36

Geoff you will need an i-pod, I can recommend The Pogues for lawnmower noise.

No TV needed I am off to visit in-laws. Will give lympics feedback.

He has only cut the front after all-has all day to do this-never mind- (big sigh smiley)

Have a nice time-see if you can get a picture of the stadium and post it on here
