Morning all

Started raining here about half hour ago, but just a trickle. Not too cold either. First night for ages it's been above freezing.

Eau de ketchup - Oscar would try to eat it

No weeds grown over night I was hoping to put some spent compost on yesterdays dug area but will wait and see if rain goes away later.

Vacuuming then, I hope, GH

Gruntfuttocks all

What is with dogs?-dirty little buggers-this one decided he would pace around for half the night for no apparent reason

Looks like we had a shower in the night-more rain is forecast in the next few days and there is a whisper it will turn a lot colder

Going to start a new garden gallery thread soon-so can some pics be taken and posted so I dont look like wally?

That is proper pics Bunny- not titchy tiny ones

Some nice Spring ones would be nice

Morning lovelies!

Got nowt to say or add so just checking in for now.

Any pic posted is an achievement. Off to buy book for dummies from amazon. The down load version of instructions for this tablet is rubbish....
Oh for the days of defunct laptop! !

Good idea starting the gardens thread. Things were a bit of a shambles last year - with some people posting on the monthly thread, which were all effectively lost at the end of the month, and just a few posting on the garden photos thread.

There are plenty of good garden pictures buried within this thread too - if anyone can find them. It would be much better if they were all collected together somewhere.

Bunny I got Geoff Hamiltons dvd's just after Christmas. I learnt so much I wanted more. I think they were £10 on Amazon

Wow Liz I wish I could receive a mystery parcel like that (jealous smiley)

Lovely photo of frog, Am wondering how to encourage them into my outside bathroom. Ideas please. (see photoposted yesterday)

Agree with Gary.  If we can keep it near the top of the list for a while until everyone has had a chance to see it, it might take off. I've opened the bidding with the snowdrops at Kingston Lacy - first seen on Fork Handles last week

I thought of doing some before and after pics but the one yesterday is before really. You need it to be for this year.

Gary your pics are very clear how many pixels does your camera have? Researching a new one.

06/03/2013 at 11:29

Thanks Flo-perhaps if individuals on this thread have a picture they are especially proud of -they could use the quote facility to post it over over there-saves doing all the donkey work again

Have asked Pam to put some on as well

06/03/2013 at 11:34

You don't need vast amounts of pixels to have good quality photos, Bjay. My little old Canon Ixus with 5mp takes a lovely pic.  A lot of people make mistakes with focusing - I do it myself - then it's a fuzzy result. Gary protests that he's nothing special but he is a very good photographer!

Quote facility, what a good idea, never thought of that
