Sorry about your bed Bjay, yet another unwanted expense I suppose.

Geoff, can you get Shredded Wheat in Spain? You can't in France. Nor Shreddies, or Grape Nuts.

14° now, quite nice, sun and cloud. They cancelled our snow forecast for Monday, but they say colder on Wednesday 7°.

I'll be happy with colder, as long as it's dry.

I think I'm growing gills.......

Our doodle whatsit says 2degrees with real feel of -5 at the moment

Can ya not get someone to drill ya a steel eyelet in front wall at ground level n chain it to that?
Miss Becks

The robdogs would take the chains and eyelets as well Dean!! I think I'm set on concreting it now. Thanks!

How long is your garden and how wide, and how cute is that little girl

My son e-mailed me some photos and yahoo blocked them, not exactly indecent, they were of GD sitting in her new chair investigating real food and then reading a bread recipe and then sticking her fingers in the dough

When she was new born and poorly rhey took a photo of her holding a pen and doing a crossword

Miss Becks

That lttle girl is Jess, being nosey as usual! And I don't know Bjay. I have never measured it, and madam lost my tape measure the other week.

I would LOVE my whole garden fenced off with 2 metre fencing, as all the houses are open plan, but have no idea how much that would cost. Most probably out of my price range/budget.

Pottie Pam

Good afternoon,

It's been a lovely day here (sorry all those who've had a cold wet one) although Dean is going for one . Can't believe that we are going to have frost and possibly snow here on Monday.

I've been spreading compost on some flower beds today and unearthed a big slow worm. I covered him up again so I hope he'll be okay when  the cold weather comes back.

You need Jo Swift sitting on the path drawing circles on paper

Bunny ...
I wouldn't have clue on fencing , has anyone nearby any , on road, next road ?
Still think circle with planting round , think fence be handy could be cheaper options? Trellis?

So I had that problem in Cannock so a cut out a moon shape bed right up to the footpath and filled it with low shrubs, bulbs and perennials - anything I could get cheap. It was about 3-4ft wide. we found we had far less litter when that was done and you can still get flowers off the shrubs. Then if you make an oval center bed and have the grass around it and then up by window you can have another bed with seat space to echo the one at the front.

Then in the center bed to start you could just sprinke seeds (wildflower) lots of colour and insects and as you can afford it see things you lie you can pop things in. Don't go for anything exotic or architectural otherwise it will walk, and anyway bog standard tends to be cheaper. you jusy have to watch the height of what you ar getting.

Miss Becks

Hi Pam!

Won't hurt to get a few fencing quotes I suppose, see what I'm looking at price wise.
