Morning frozen forkers it's the same here . We've had a light fall of snow through the night and it looks like someone has sprinkled talcum powder everywhere. Haven't been outside yet but I can imagine what it's like out there.
Gary - I do hope you're right about the weather changing.
Birds galore on the fatballs and the table 's nearly empty again. That will be the first job of the day.
Bunny - surely you are not drinking already ?
Sunny here but a stiff breeze, by the looks of the waving tree branches. Brrrrr.....have to zip off to work now. Enjoy your gardens, lucky people.
Not cold here-might move soon
Morning all. Sounds like the weather thread on here today. 3° here.
Shake a leg, Geoff, the day awaits.
Doing this in stages-now out of bed-not showered yet
Morning all. No, I haven't been snuggling under the duvet! Defrosted birds' water, took dog to groomers, went shopping for bacon, came home and had bacon sarnie and cup of tea. Have been answering emails before I allowed myself a little play on here Bloomin' freezing again, ground is solid. Indoor jobs again today.
Gosh, how old is Geoff? Sounds older than I thought!!
Very crisp this morning, sun shining, considering construction of the raised beds. Thank God the wind has eased a bit, yesterday it was as my grandfather would say a 'lazy wind' , by which he meant it went straight through you rather than around! Enjoy your day folks. I have the lovely gas bloke due this afternoon, oh the joys!
Saw Crufts at the weekend. They showed how dogs are being used to help people with dementia.
Dementia patients don't understand the need to get up, and so the dog is trained to pull the blankets off the bed. (Not quite sure how the dog knows when to do this; maybe when it feels hungry, or the need to go outside).
This soon gets the patient up.
I got up to do something -can someone remind what it was? -thanks
