Sue, I had steroid injections in thumb joints. Worked well, but you will need a day off work if you have the same reaction as me. Couldn't use my hands at all the next day, it was like when you have anaesthetic in the gums at the dentist, but in the hands. Mine was for different reason though, arthritis and tendonitis from hand milking Jersey cows!
carpal-tunnel from excessive milking? Well I certainly didn't see that one coming, hope your hands feel better soon.
Not much to report today, a bit boring really. Going to get some grow bags shortly, might join Geoff at Beige Land, see what's on offer.
Oh arrived home at 11-45 last night, had a good night at the brewery, but you would, wouldn't you, free beer, but he's not a big drinker anyway so was almost sober no paracetamol required.
More seeds to sow, bought some antirrhinum this year for a change, my Dad always used to grow coleus, lovely colours and usually a surprise, not had any for years, dead easy to grow, If I remember rightly we used to root them in water from leaves, might be wrong.. Bought some Hyacinthus Candican, summer hyacinth, and a speciosum lily, so will be off to GH to get them potted.
Window cleaner just arrived might be able to see out now
Could get me some compost geoff , also some plants for my new empty borders....some stain for shed........some more seeds...

More seeds through-anything yet Kerrygold?
missed the beige day
All this talk of seeds But I know I mustn't Paving man phoned me yesterday and gave a price, which I accepted. He's going to pop round with a catalogue so I can choose colour/s and collect some dosh to buy stuff. I think he's a Dorset relative of Eddie Grundy**. Hoping I don't end up with mooning gnomes concreted in by the path
**Archers character for those who don't listen to 'a contemporary drama in a rural setting'!
I'm not bunny.
Did I miss the correct guess of Bunny's moniker? Or is there something about a certain county in Ireland I missed?
I met some lovely Kerrys in my teaching experience It's amazing how you can be turned onto / off names when you have worked with certain 'little dears' for a whole year day in day out! I taught a most delightful Geoff, lots of Rebeccas, Becks and Bexes - all nice girls, lots of Garys - only one I didn't warm to, lots of Chris's - all boys and a very mixed bunch, no Dereks or Glyns, though.
Brummie Ben, Sue has carpel tunnel, I had tendonitis from milking, years ago. I now have osteoarthritis in thumbs. Hope the Doc does something successful with Sue's.
That sounds painful. Hope you both get sorted out with Docs.
Back from shops. Nothing too exciting but did manage to get 6 Martguerita daisies plug plants from Aldi - £1 99 Also went to H/bargains to investigate the seed disk situation and they have the hanging basket ones back in .
This is it.
Right - off to sow the coleus. Thanks for all the comments about growing them. Feel a little more confident about them now.
